Meredith later worked as a salesman for Carroll's Auto Sales until his retirement. Meredith was an active member in his community and a past member of the Presque Isle Lions Club. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Presque Isle Country Club. He enjoyed the theater arts, and was an extremely accomplished artist who won numerous awards.
