Obituary for Alex James Malone

Alex James Malone
LEVANT - Alex James Malone, 22, passed away unexpectedly June 30, 2018 in Howland. Alex was born October 26, 1995, in Bangor, the son of Melissa Crockett and Edward Malone. Alex was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting, whether it be with his brothers or any of his numerous fishing buddies. Alex also loved to view the beautiful state he lived in from the mountain tops, taking pictures as he made the climb. The positive energy Alex brought into anyone's life surely made them realize they had a friend, he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need and lend a helping hand to all those in need. Alex was a very devoted father to Kaydince as well as his family, making sure he was there for everyone and giving what he could without wanting anything in return. His heart was gold, his smile could light up the darkest of rooms and his blue eyes shined brighter than the sky. Alex was predeceased by his grandparents, Marvin Jr. and Jane Crockett of Levant. Alex leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Kaydince Malone; his parents, Melissa Crockett and husband, Walter Weymouth, of Levant; grandparent, Stephen Weymouth of Kenduskeag; three siblings, Amanda Labreck and fiancé, Jesse Begin of Van Buren, Zackery Malone of Bangor, Jorge Malone and fianceé, Brianna Ireland of Hermon; three nephews, Neil Begin, Ayden Willette, Chase Malone; mother of his daughter, Savanna Adams of Ellsworth; aunts and uncles, Nina and Marty Crockett III of Gouldsboro, Pam and James Malone of Bangor, Sally and Eric Nason of Glenburn, Stephanie and Mike Crockett of Guilford, Mark Crockett of Greenbush; and close cousins, Willow Thomas, Anthony Crockett, Liam Crockett, Marty Crockett IV and Ruben Niles. All are welcome to attend a memorial reception 3-6 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor Those who wish to remember Alex in a special way may make gifts in his memory in support of his family to their GoFundMe fund at https://www.gofundme.com/funeral-expenses-for-alex-malone Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
