BANGOR - Ronald Charles Moll joined heaven’s choir on October 13, 2019. He was born on November 12, 1937 to Harry and Pearl (Bixler) Moll.
Ron grew up in Hamburg, New York where he met the woman who would become his wife, Janet. Ron’s career was banking - and his passion was music. He directed church choirs and Anah Shrine Chanters. Like all humans, Ron was not perfect. However, through his actions and with the help of his imperfections, he taught many important lessons including loyalty, humility, forgiveness and understanding. He taught balance with his commitment to both his professional life and his passion. He was an animated music director ... often smiling and bouncing as he directed the choir. His sense of fun and enjoyment was contagious and rehearsals always included laughter. While Ron had particular music tastes, he appreciated all music and the power that music brings in healing, soothing, inspiring, energizing and living.
He was a member of Rising Virtue Lodge #10 A.F. & A.M. of Bangor,Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor, Maine Consistory 32o degree, and Anah Shriners & Chanters.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, two brothers, and a daughter. He is survived by three daughters, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those who wish to remember Ron in a special way may take a page from Ron’s book .... listen to whatever music you enjoy, whatever music will make you smile and bounce and maybe even dance a little ... and as you dance, smile and bounce, send a thought to Ron.
