Obituary

EDDINGTON- Thomas “Tom” Victor Dow, 70, passed away from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident on October 22, 2019 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1948 in Waterville, Maine the son of Victor Thomas and Clara Lillian (Ireland) Dow Tom was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton High School. He graduated in 1966, the last graduating class. He went on to graduate from New Brunswick Bible Institute in 1972. He spent over 20 years in the ministry and love to tell people about his Savior Jesus Christ. He retired from sales at Time Warner Cable. He spent the last few years at Safe Place Self Storage as “a retirement job” where he and his dog, Skipper “held down the fort”- “where maybe he caught up on some rest”. Tom loved the outdoors. His favorite place to be was in the woods with anyone he could convince to go with him. He also had a great love for southern gospel music. He planned several road trips with his wife that would center around these concerts. Tom had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh – especially when it was sometimes at someone else’s expense. My family and I are deeply indebted to you, Tom And Stephanie.
You went the extra miles in you ministering to us. You strengthened our connection with God and Jesus Iin those days at Bangor hospital and the weeks of REHAB following and then the final passing of my Mother. I cannot express the comfort and love extended to her and us by you.i'm sorry I haven't been able to attend Tom's services or be there while he was attempting recovery. In fact I didn't even know until after he had passed and this is the first time I've had to be able to find a spot to message you. i wish you the best and do hope I am able to get to see you at some point.
I was really set back by this news.
I have health struggles but am still fairly active. I will be in prayer for you and your family as you attempt to put this behind you.
I will be asking that the Holy Spirit anoint you and comfort as you press onward.
Best to you
Mike & Janet Dawes

So very sorry to hear today of Tom's passing. As fellow 1970 grads of NBBI, we have many fond memories of Tom. What joy to know the promise of God's Word that assures the believer that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. What a grand reunion awaits us in Glory! - Jim & Barbara Appleby, Hartland, New Brunswick, Canada
