I wonder if Patti knew how very much she meant to the patients of CCOM. I so appreciated her kind and encouraging words, hugs and empathy. No matter how I was feeling, Patti always knew what to say and that give my wife, Abby, and I great comfort. And our exchanges about the Red Sox kept me in my hopeful place. We were so saddened to learn of her passing. She was our guardian angel at CancerCare.
I'd known Patti since grade school. The world is diminished without her here. Our deepest sympathies to the entire family.

Patti, I can't count the number of times you gave me your heartfelt words of encouragement, thoughtfulness and kindness when I needed them the most. Those times lifted me and made all the difference in my day. Now you are free to fly to the stars and Heaven. We will see you there.
