Obituary

CORINTH – Dianne W. Clark, 79, died November 6, 2020. She passed quietly in the comfort of home, with her husband of 59 years, holding her hand. She was born December 26, 1940, in Monson, the daughter of T. Alden and Leone (Huff) Warman.

Dianne graduated from Greenville High School. She married Stan Clark December 24, 1961. She spent her years raising their family, managing their home, and navigating the complexities of a life with diabetes. She enjoyed her time driving school bus, and working as a home health aid. Another great joy was having Saturday night bean suppers and holiday meals with the entire family around the table. She never lost her love of horses, little animals, and babies.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by their infant son, Joshua Stanley; her baby sister, Sheryl Warman; sister in law, Jean Warman. Surviving in addition to her husband, are her daughters, Diana Shumaker and her husband, David, of Corinth, Heidi Anderson, of Brewer; son, Jason Clark and his wife, Tammy, of Palmetto, Florida; grandchildren, Veronica Clay and her husband, Hunter, Jason Stanley Clark, Victoria Shumaker and her significant other, Casey Clement, Elizabeth Shumaker, Rebecca Gould and her significant other, Jake Ingraham, and Ethan Anderson; five great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Mitchell and her husband, Arthur, of Temple; brother, David Warman, of Topsham; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Amedisys Home Health and Beacon Hospice for their compassionate care, enabling them to fulfill her wishes to pass at home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Please be mindful of others by practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering, that staff will be conducting contact tracing, and be aware that the number of people allowed in the building at one time is limited. Those who wish to remember Diane in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Beacon Hospice, 304 Hancock St., Suite 3A, Bangor, ME, 04401.
